Friends

All my friends live in my head.

Sometimes they wish me dead.

I've got girls and boys talking away.

I can talk to them for hours.

They say I have Godly powers.

I wish for them to take flight away.

Maybe they're right and I'm just living astray.

Worship

To love is to worship.

As most things we do are blessings.

White horse

I dream of white horses.

Riding in the sky.

With feathered wings.

Running free, by and by.

Tourist

Fitting in has always been a problem.

I am no tourist here.

I'm in for the long haul.

Tough Love

My eaten fingers.

My bruised skin.

My My…

I'm not holding on to your fist.

Or your tough love.
